History

1993 — establishment of the cataloging department of the Main Office for the Purchase of Services and Property and the commencement of preparatory work for the participation of the Czech Republic, or rather the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic, in the NATO Codification System (NCS)

1994 — issuance of a regulation by the Logistics Inspector of the Czech Armed Forces on the gradual transition to the principles of the NCS, which in practice meant the cessation of further development of technical projects for individual material classes

1995 to 1996 — basic training of OKM staff for the implementation of the NCS in Germany

1996 — accession of the Czech Republic to the NCS as a sponsored country

since 1996 — competence of the OKM as the de facto National Codification Office

1997 — establishment of the Asset Cataloging Department

1998 — introduction of the Logistics Information System Catalog

1998 — commencement of the elaboration of the substantive plan of Act No. 309/2000 Coll. on defense standardization, cataloguing and state quality assurance

1999 — accession of the Czech Republic to the NCS as a member country

2001 — organization of the cataloguing seminar CODISEM 2001 in Prague

2002 — organization of the jubilee 100th session of Panel A of the NATO AC/135 Committee in Prague

from 1. 1. 2004 — operation of the OKM as a subject within the independent Office for Defense Standardization, Cataloguing and State Quality Assurance, which was subordinated to the Deputy Minister of Defense for Armaments

2004 — organization of the Czech-American workshop on cataloguing

issue of RMO No. 25/2004 of the Bulletin - Cataloguing of property under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence

signing of a protocol between the National Codification Office of the Czech Republic and the National Codification Office of the Slovak Republic on cooperation in the field of cataloguing

from 1 January 2005 — application of the processes of the Unified Cataloguing System in the Czech Republic in the form of the MODEL 2005 concept

2009 — organization of the international cataloguing seminar CODISEM 2009 in Prague, amendment to RMO No. 25/2004 of the Bulletin – Cataloguing of property under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defence, which was accepted as RMO No. 35/2009 of the Bulletin

2010 — increased quality of processing of cataloguing data on the product by introducing the obligation to process and send the Set of Mandatory Data for Cataloguing to the OKM via a web portal

2011 — organization of the international cataloguing seminar CODISEM 2011 in Prague

2011 — International cataloguing course in Brno

2012 — cooperation in organizing the NCS College at the Brno University

2013 — organization of the 5th meeting of the NATO AC/135 Transformation Steering Group in Prague

2014 — cooperation in organizing the NCS College at the Brno University

2015 — transfer of the Office to activities pursuant to Act No. 234/2014 Coll., on civil service; entry of OdKM employees into the civil service

2016 — cooperation in organizing NCS College 2016 at UO Brno

2017 — participation in the 3rd World Codification Forum in Australia, Melbourne

2018 — cooperation in organizing NCS College 2018 at UO Brno

2019 — start of implementation of the project External cataloging module NCS/WEB (WEB-KAT) as an integral part of JSK to meet the requirements resulting from changes in the rules and structure of codification data exchange within NCS from 2022

2020 — successful testing of the national codification SW by the NATO agency (NSPA) to meet the conditions of changes to the NATO codification system (NCS – NDER)

2021 — organization of the international codification course NCS College 2021 (on-line)

2021 — chairmanship and organization of the meeting of the 27th MCC UG – group of users of the codification SW MC Catalogue

2022 — start of WEB-KAT operation and cataloging outside the internal system of the ministry MoD

2023 – Cooperation in organizing the international codification course NCS College 2023 at the University of Defence Brno

2024 – Implementation of administrative management into the WEB-KAT workflow application
