Foreign Activities

Representatives of the CD regularly participate in meetings of the working groups of the NATO Allied Committee AC/135, which manages the NCS. Specifically, the CD participates in the following meetings:

MAIN GROUP – a group of directors of National Codification Offices dealing with the areas of development, financing and management of the NCS;

PANEL A – a group to support the Main Group dealing with technical aspects of international data exchange and codification in NATO.

Outside the NATO AC/135 meetings, the CD is a member of the MC Catalogue User Group. This is a group of countries using the MC Catalogue - codification software developed and supported by the Czech company AURA, s.r.o. The aim of the group is to harmonize requirements for changes and modifications to the MC Catalogue and to synchronize individual national versions within the NCS.

At the level of bilateral relations, the CD takes priority in cooperation, especially with the Slovak National Codification Office.
